Handmade & Found is the new Comfort and Joy

Handmade & Found is a unique fashion boutique based in Islington, London.

Run by Ruth Llewellyn and Anthony Wilson, the boutique has recently undergone a makeover as part of the BBC Two series, Mary Queen of Shops, working with retail guru Mary Portas. On Mary's advice, our Islington boutique 'Comfort and Joy' has changed it's name, it's colour and it's layout.

The boutique features Ruth Llewellyn's original Handmade designs targeted at sophisticated clientele with an individual eye for stylish and quality garments and Anthony Wilson's 'Found' selections, sourced to create original and edgy collections from emerging designers and creating unique outfits for that special occasion.

Ruth is well known to her clients for creating a perfect cut whilst Anthony can dress the fashion conscious girl about town within an affordable budget.

Located near the corner of fashionable Cross Street, which links Upper Street to Essex Road, the boutique is a 10 minute walk from Angel tube station.
Buses: No's 38, 56, 73, 341, 476 run every few minutes.
On Foot: from Angel tube station the shop is approximately 1/2 km north east on Essex Road.
